Killer Poker Hold'em Handbook: A Workbook for Winners by John Vorhaus is saddled with an unfortunately misleading title. Someone shopping for a poker book might mistake it for a boring collection hand exercises. This is the only writing mistake I have ever observed of Vorhaus.
Instead, in this book Vorhaus, an excellent and entertaining poker writer, turns his creative juices loose. He treats the subject of limit hold'em, and many of its constituients, in ways that you will not read anywhere else.
This must be a must read book. Because over the years, I accidentally bought two copies. Read both. And, as I always do, marked each up with my red ink pen. It was not until I was preparing to write this review that I re-discovered (for the umpteenth time) my growing absent mindedness.
Seriously though, maybe my experience will serve to illustrate that Vorhaus' book is so full of good poker advice that you could (should) read it twice.
