If you are a poker books fan, then you already know that 2+2 Publishing produces some of the most structured and rigorous (text) books available. Usually they are crammed full of the meatiest, most innovative thinking around. In this regard, Sit 'n Go Strategy by Collin Moshman is absolutely no disappointment.
Even though it may easily be one of the toughest poker reads ever, my game literally improved with every page. Here is some of Moshman's expert advice that has helped me:
1) "If you are the pre-flop aggressor and an opponent bets out unexpectedly at the flop, then he is very unlikely to have a monster hand." Page 58.
2) "With a stack fewer than 10BB, if you intend to blind-steal, push all-in rather than make a smaller raise." Page 76.
3) "Never bet more than is necessary to bluff down a pot you will not win at showdown." Page 82.
4) "You should be much more inclined to re-steal against a stealer and a caller(s) than against a single stealer." Page 98.
5) "When other players will call with comparatively few hands, so should you aggress with a wider array of hands." Page 150.

Moshman is also the author of Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em, arguably the top (and only) book in print on the subject. Both of his books should be required reading in every poker classroom.
